Minnie and I went to Owen and Barb’s Hawaiian party on Saturday. We had a great time and some really good BBQ. They have done a great job putting together the landscaping and house decoration. A good time was had by all! In the pic is Owen and a couple of his friends in full dress.

Did the Southern BBQ mix well with the Luau?
After a few drinks it all made good sense and blended well. Owen turned out to be a good cook. I did decline to put on a grass skirt.

People came not knowing what to expect. We had pot luck for the side dishes and BBQ pork chops and chicken for the main course. Minnie's Guacamole and Salsa was great. Built a bar from left over deck wood Brian had. We called it our Tiki Bar. I think I we should name it Martell’s Tiki Bar. Check this site out… http://www.tikibar.com/ . It had its own grass skirt and was the center of activities as the night progress.
